Veteran Marines are the tier 2 unit for the Terrans.
Veteran Marines are reasearched at the Tech Lab and can either be build at the Barracks or can made by upgrading existing Standard Marines into Verteran Marines when in proximity to the Barracks or with the Mobile Suad Training Upgrade. Once Elite Marines are reseached at Tech Lab existing Veteran Marines can be upgraded to Elite Marines when in proximity to the Barracks or with the Mobile Squad Training Upgrade.

Abilities[]
- Overcharge: Doubles the attack speed for 5 seconds. Can be researched from the armory.
- Promote to Elite Marine: Upgrades to an Elite Marine nearby the Barracks. Costs 60 minerals and 10 gas.
Usage[]
Veteran Marines are mostly used against the early armored unit of Zerg such as Roaches and Primial Roaches. They can still be used against Ultralisks but basically no Damage against Brutalisks. So Higher Damage Units such as Elite Marines, Italis or Sentry Guns are needed to deal with those.
